A message from the founder:
Hello all, Darkhavans here, hailing from the burgeoning server of Odin! I’d like to explain a little about why I made this blog, and it’s intended purpose.
My intentions with this blog are to do what I see very few people doing, and that is to bring a constant flow of intriguing information about the ever-popular MMO: Final Fantasy XI. I made it for the reason that I enjoy reading information presented in a blog form, and enjoy writing about topics I have great knowledge on. I hope to get a lot of information out there, even if it is commonly known information, I’d like to create a source where people can to keep up to date on the going-ons in Vana’Diel, and learn new things about the game.
I hope you all enjoy the posts and blog, and any constructive criticism is welcomed.

I’ve been playing with North American launch, and have leveled every job and delved into all of the games aspects. I’ve never gotten a job to 75 unfortunately, mainly because of my experimenting with jobs. I always want to find out more uses and possibilities for a job. It was just never that important to me to hit end-game. I’ve experienced some end-game, and know about the rest from my vast amount of time spent on the game. Unfortunately my original character was banned in late 2007, I don’t know the reason for the banning, but I can assure you all It was not hacking. I had a previous suspension due to that years prior, and put it down for good. I came back after a few months, and re-made my character on the Odin server (further contributing to it’s wonderful population problems! 
I’m currently sitting at 21RDM, 13BLM, and 31 Cooking/10 Fishing, which I just realized I need to go uncap <_<. I’m almost always on the game, whether I’m actually playing or not, so send me a /tell in-game if you’d like. I may eventually return to my homeplace of Seraph, the server that I garnered many friends over the years and built up a reputation for myself that I miss dearly. I am currently in the Linkshell KnightsOfTheChocobo, a great community in which some of the Limit Break Radio hosts and interns reside.
I do a lot of work outside of the game as well, I have 2 gil-making guides on FFXIClopedia, and am an active editor on the site.

Hello everyone. I’m Ashir as you might have noticed. I hail from the server of Odin and I love being a Tarutaru BLM at level 15 and RDM at 19. I come from the nation of Windurst. Compared to Darkhavans, I’m still quite new to the game, having started in early February of 2008. I think I’ve picked up the basics for the most part and can’t wait to get out there and experience all that the world of Vana’Diel has to offer. I’m also on the game constantly, when I’m not doing schoolwork or other social events. In other words, when I’m being socially inept, I’m on FFXI. If you’re interested in partying or just talking for a bit, shoot me a tell and I’d be happy to respond. As with Darkhavans, I’m also a member of KnightsOfTheChocobo Linkshell. If the opportunity should arise, I’ll more than likely return to Seraph with Darkhavans.
The more and more I delve into the world of Final Fantasy XI, the more and more I want to learn more about it. Eventually I’ll probably start becoming a constant FFXIClopedia editor, but for now I’m content to post here on FFXilicious.
